The stage set at the Palais de Tokyo on Avenue du President Wilson in Paris greeted guests with white light butterflies.
This collection, explained Andrew Gn in his accompanying show program, was in part inspired by a precious Chinese antique porcelain vase given to him by his parents when he was just 15. It is covered with butterflies and iridescent colors.
Sadly, just before the models walked, a voice over the loudspeaker announced that Andrew would not bow at the end of this show as he had done at all his others.
He had just undergone open heart surgery and was recovering. The voice said he was recovering nicely.
