Antoine Taurin's Paris Runway show was earlier this week. He showcased a collection of formfitting dresses whose inspiration comes from the Middle Ages, though his women's RTW collection for F/W '12-'13 is firmly rooted in today's style needs of the modern woman.
Armor, culottes, chainse - the old voluminous undershirts that noblewomen and knights wore under their outerwear in the Middle Ages - all compliment the tithed waists and roomy sleeves that meld this collection of contrasts to today's woman.
Comfort and attention to detail are exhibited in Taurin's collection this year, as hallmarks of his creations. Models wore Falke shoes, Viveka Bergstrom jewelry and were adorned with Make Up For Ever.
